African Reed Thatch

African Reed Thatch – Natural

Tubular African reeds native to South Africa are dipped and hand glued to a rigid but flexible, heavy-duty urethane binder. Our African reed thatch panels create a visual impact through the variations of color found throughout the reeds. The thickness of the panels provides a distinct, stepped appearance when installed on a roof, umbrella or palapa and, also allows the material to fare well in damp, moist climates. Easy to install, African reed panels are installed as simply as typical roof shingle.
